We’ve launched a new guide today that covers all the best Nintendo DSi bundle deals. Like our other guides, it tries to sort through the bundle deals on the market and pick out those which offer the best value at the lowest price.
Given the hundreds of Nintendo DSi bundle deals currently available, we’re hoping this guide will be of some use!
We’ve also added comparison pages for all the current colours of Nintendo DSi:
Nintendo DSi (Black)
Nintendo DSi (Light Blue)
Nintendo DSi (Metallic Blue)
Nintendo DSi (Red)
Nintendo DSi (White)
In the future, we’ll be looking at the differences between the DS Lite and the DSi (some retailers still have stocks of the older DS Lite) for those interested in choosing between them.
If you know of bundle deals we may have missed out, or have any suggestions on future topics we should cover, be sure to drop us a message!

There have been a lot of recent reports on gaming forums from people who have had problems after buying used Xbox 360 consoles. While pre-owned consoles purchased from mainstream retailers should be immune to this problem, a lot of people who purchased console from sites such as Ebay and Craigslist have ended up with consoles that have been modded or chipped by their previous owners.
See this Wikipedia article on modchips for those unfamiliar with the term.
A modded or chipped Xbox 360 console will not be able to access Xbox Live. Microsoft can detect if the console has been tampered with, and bans the console itself from accessing their online service. Microsoft have recently banned a large number of consoles to coincide with the release of Modern Warfare 2. See this recent BBC News article for more details.
With a large number of users recently banned by Microsoft, we may see a large increase of banned consoles coming onto the second-hand market. People affected generally try to offload their console and transfer their hard disk into a new console.
Banned consoles will be able to play single player games well enough, but will not have access to any online services, including online multiplayer.
We don’t want to put off any people who are able to make a large saving by buying used Xbox 360 consoles, but we thought it would be worth flagging up the problem to those who might not be aware of the issue.
We’d be very interested in hearing from people who have had experiences with pre-owned consoles, both good and bad. If you have been affected, please leave a comment!

Update (November 16th): You can now ignore this post. Amazon have exhausted their stocks of the Xbox 360 Arcade with Sega Superstars Tennis, and are now selling their bundles with just the Xbox 360 Arcade console.
Amazon appear to be featuring the wrong Xbox 360 Arcade console on their Xbox 360 Arcade bundle deals page.
The correct console, which is featured in their bundle deal and was on the page until yesterday, is the Xbox 360 Arcade with Sega Superstars Tennis.
Whereas the Arcade console they now show on the bundles page is one they they don’t have stock of. Not sure what’s going on there…
To get the Amazon Xbox 360 Arcade bundle deal:
1) Add the Xbox 360 Arcade with Sega Superstars Tennis to your basket.
2) Add one of the items from the Amazon Xbox 360 Arcade Bundle Deals page to your basket as normal.
Hope this helps!

We added a range of new products to the site yesterday. Many of them are future releases, such as Mass Effect 2, but a number are titles that are coming out over Christmas.
As always, we only list top-rated games and products. Highlights include Football Manager 2010, Uncharted 2, and the highly-anticipated Left 4 Dead 2.
If there are any products you feel are missing from the site, please leave your suggestions!

Update: We checked this deal today (13th November) at 11:00am and it appears to have been discontinued. It may still be worth trying on the off-chance that there is a glitch on our end, but we currently assume that Amazon have ended the deal.
If you can still get the deal to work, let us know!
Amazon seem to offer a discount on Modern Warfare 2 that is not marked on their website. This deal was previously advertised on Amazon’s site on November 9th to 10th, but they removed all mention of it recently.
However, it seems possible (at least for us and several others) to still get the deal!
The deal allows you get to get an Xbox 360 for £189.99, add two items for £10 only extra, and then add Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for only £10 extra (£209.99 total).
To take advantage of this bundle deal:
1) Go the the standard Amazon Xbox 360 Elite special offer page.
2) Add the Xbox 360 Elite and two of the items shown to your basket. Don’t include Wolfenstein. One of the two items you can include is the Wireless Entertainment pack, which includes two games and a controller.
3) Go to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 page and add it to your basket.
4) Go through the checkout process. Make sure you have the correct items and in the right quantities.
5) The final price (not including delivery) should come out as £209.99. This offers a huge saving of up to £130 compared to buying these items separately.
If this doesn’t work for you, be sure to send us a message. If this does work for you, also be sure to send us a message!

We’ve had a report that the current Amazon Xbox 360 bundle deal isn’t correctly discounting the game Wolfenstein. All other games we’ve tested appear to be discounted correctly, but when Wolfenstein is included the deal doesn’t include the correct discount.
Until Amazon resolve the issue, we’d suggest choosing games other than Wolfenstein when making a purchase. Suitable replacements (which have received better reviews) are either Halo 3: ODST or Borderlands.
