Borderlands is a mix between the first=person shooter and role-playing genres. With distinctive, cell-shaded graphics and a apocalyptic wasteland setting, it has proved one of the surprise hits of 2009.
Borderlands features single-player and multiplayer co-operative gameplay, with up to four players able to explore and fight together through the world of Pandora. The game has borrowed many elements from Diablo in terms of its loot system, featuring hundreds of thousands of different weapon combinations.
The PC version of Borderlands has some issues from being ported over from the consoles, but with tweaking these can be reduced. As usual with the PC, the graphics of the game are superior to the console if your computer is fast enough.
