Gears of War 2 improves in almost every way over its predecessor. One of the best first-person shooter (FPS) games available for the Xbox 360, GoW 2 combines a cinematic production with relentless, up-close action.

This remains one of the most-played games over Xbox Live, both for its cooperative gameplay modes (also available splitscreen) and its versus matches.

While it could never be called a subtle game, this should be considered a must-have for any FPS fans who want to experience the best of what the Xbox 360 has to offer.
