Its status as one of the most high-profile and controversial of computer games shouldn't blind you to the work that has gone into Grand Theft Auto IV. Ignore the controversy and give it a try; it is widely regarded as one of the must-have games for any platform, and for good reason.

For beyond the headlines Grand Theft Auto IV has created there are interesting characters, a detailed plot, and an open, expansive world that is second to none. Rockstar have learned well from previous titles in the series and this is the best Grand Theft Auto game to date.
