In terms of specifications, the Playstation 3, with its Blu-ray drive, is the only console to ship with a built-in high definition disc player. It remains the best console in terms of its multimedia capabilities, and boasts a good selection of exclusive and cross-platform titles.
Online play and services have also been improved to make it a firm competitor with Microsoft's Xbox Live. The PS3's online features also have the advantage of being completely free.
